Why did you choose Cal Lutheran?
Cal Lutheran offers the opportunity to be involved in so many different activities while also being a student-athlete. The campus provides great opportunities in attending events both sponsored by the school and in the community that I continue to enjoy.

What is your major/minor and what are you excited about it?
I am a history pedagogy major and a political science minor. The opportunity that Cal Lutheran gives to its undergrads to take graduate level classes enables me to get a head start on earning my teaching credentials. The history department itself is always connecting me with local events and always has kept my best interest in mind.

Favorite academic memory at Cal Lutheran?
From the start of Fall 2022 to the end of Fall 2023 I was The Echo’s Photography Editor. Working as an editor for our school newspaper allowed to interact with many different individuals in the Cal Lutheran community and build my real world problem solving skills. I am forever grateful for being apart of a greater publication and telling the stories of others. I am also the president of a student club which allows me to create a community of students of similar interest and work to better the community.

Favorite athletic memory at Cal Lutheran?
At our SCIAC championship, we always end the meet feeling so much love for one another, no matter the outcome of our races. Watching our women’s swim team grow each year and break recordings is definitely something I am proud of. Also being not just a teammate to my peers but a role-model as an upperclassmen, helping those younger than me in both academics and everyday situations in life means so much to the development of our program.
