Luis Villavicencio joned the Cal Lutheran football staff in the summer of 2017. He works primarily with cornerbacks. 

There has been an all-conference defensive back every year since Villavicencio has been on staff and one All-American in Obasi Dees.

Villavicencio played for the Kingsmen in 2010 and '11. In 2010, the team was the SCIAC champion and he was Second Team All-American, First Team All-Region and First Team All-SCIAC. He was a Pre-Season Frist Team All-American in 2011. The team was SCIAC champs that year as he was First Team All-Region and First Team All-SCIAC. 

He took past in Cal Lutheran first-ever pro-day.
