LA MIRADA, Calif. — California Lutheran University women's swimming finished seventh at the 2022 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships. The meet spanned four days, Wednesday through Saturday, as the Regals totaled 264 points.
On the final day of competition, Alice Peterson had the best finish as she raced in the A Final for the 200-yard backstroke. She placed fifth as she touched the wall in two minutes and 6.82 seconds.
Kendall Moffitt placed sixth in her race. Moffitt swam the 1,650-yard freestyle and cruised to the finish in 17:40.14.
The Regals also competed in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The quartet of Peterson, Moffitt, Ella Roberts and Kyrie Fairbairn placed seventh with 3:40.67.
The 2022 NCAA Championships are March 16-19 in Indianapolis. Athletes must meet qualifying standards. A list of those that made the cut will be announced soon.
