THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — In their first meet of 2022, the California Lutheran University women's swimming and diving team hosted Pomona-Pitzer for Senior Day on Saturday afternoon. 

Before the meet, the Regals honored seniors Athena Alexander, Aubrey Blickman, Avery Conrad, Jaclyn Holtz, Ivana Reyes, Katie Shannon and Brieyana Walton. 

The Regals won two events as Alice Peterson and Ella Roberts led their squad. Peterson wo the 200-yard backstroke with two minutes and 11.74 seconds while Roberts claimed the 1-meter dive with 258.97 points. 

The Regals took silver in three events, two individual and one relay. Blickman was the runner-up in the 100-yard breast with 1:12.28, Kendall Moffitt touched in second place for the 100-yard free with 56.62 and the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Peterson, Moffitt, Blickman and Roberts took second with 1:44.89.

Cal Lutheran took third in four more events as Peterson (100-yard back, 1:02.76), Moffitt (200-yard free, 2:02.67), Kyrie Fairbairn (100-yard free, 58.56) and Roberts (100-yard fly, 1:04.27) in their respective events. 

The Regals continue their season next Saturday, Jan. 15, as they travel to take on Chapman with the meet starting at 10:30 a.m.
