2012 (Track & Field)
Concluded stellar four-year career this spring…began the season with a 3000m run of 10:39.18 at the Rossi Relays (Feb. 25)…ran her fastest 800m and 5,000m times at first SCIAC multi-dual meet of the season hosted by Occidental…clocked in at 2:22.99 in 800m and followed with a 19:26.75 in the 5K..completed the 3,000m Steeplechase in 11:29.62 at the Oxy Distance Carnival (March 16).


2011 (Cross Country)
Qualified to compete at NCAA National Championship…earned First Team All-West Region…finished 2nd overall at the SCIAC Cross Country Championships (Oct. 29) with a time of 23:36.88…recorded a time of 21:51.0 for a 6th place finish at the NCAA Division III West Regional Cross Country Championships (Nov. 12)…finished 36th overall at the NCAA Division III National Cross Country Championships (Nov. 19) with a time of 21:44.36.


2011 (Track & Field)
Finished eighth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in a CLU record time of 10:39.54 at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 26-28)...earned All-American honors due to her overall finish at the national championships...earned a spot on the All-Conference team due to her finish in the 1,500 meters and 3,000 meter steeplechase at the SCIAC Championships (April 29-30)...finished in second place at the SCIAC Championships with her time of 4:37.82 in the 1,500 meters...recorded the third-fastest times ever recorded in the 800 meters with her 2:16.43 effort at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 3 (April 16) and 4:37.39 in the 1,500 meters at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 2 (April 2)...currently ranked second all-time in the 5,000 meters with her time of 17:54.10 recorded at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 1 (Mar. 5)...named Cal Lutheran Athlete of the Week on three occasions (March 21-27, April 25-May 1 and May 23-29)...Named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District VIII Track and Field/Cross Country team...third year member of the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

Named to United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team...one of 170 female D-III student-athletes to receive honor...earned first trip to NCAA National Championships...earned All-West Region and First Team All-SCIAC recognition...finished 115th at the NCAA Division III National Championships with a time of 22:32.1 (Nov. 20)... ran the ninth-fastest time (22:40.83) at the Division III West Regional Championships (Nov. 30)... ran a 23:32.61 to finish fourth at the SCIAC Championships (Oct. 30)... finished fourth (22:37.96) in the 6k Run at the SCIAC Cross Country Multi-Dual Meet (Oct. 16)... finished in 10th place (22:51.6) at the Pomona-Pitzer Cross Country Invitational...third year member of the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

Was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District VIII Team...was the SCIAC Champion in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:06.00...took second in the 1,500-meter (4:43.51)...recorded the fastest 3,000-meter steeplechase time in CLU history (11:03.34)...posted the fifth fastest time in CLU history in the 800-meter (2:19.96), the fourth fastest time in the 1,500-meter (4:43.28), the fourth fastest time in the 3,000-meter (10:30.32) and the second fastest time in the 5,000-meter (18:16.48)...second-year member of CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2009 (Cross Country)
Earned First Team All-SCIAC finishing ninth at the Championship meet (24:13.24)...most recent CLU First Team member since 2005...ran fastest 6k at West Regional Championships (23:23.26) taking 18th overall and CLU top finisher...earned All-West Region honors...named to USTFCCCA Division III All-Academic Team...two-year member of CLU Scholar Athlete Society...named CLU Female Athlete of the Week twice (Sept. 14-20, Oct. 26-Nov. 1).

2009 (Track & Field)
Recorded a pair of finals appearances as a freshman at the SCIAC Championship meet...finished fourth in the 1,500 meters (4:47.52) and seventh in the 800 meters (2:22.43)...both marks ranked in the program's all-time top-10.

2008 (Cross Country)
In rookie season claimed a spot on the All-SCIAC Second Team after a 14th place finish (24:53.19) at the SCIAC Championships on Nov. 1...made her collegiate debut as a freshman on Sept. 6 at UC Irvine and finished the 5k in 19:58.00 (15th)...produced a 39th place finish (23:34.93) at the NCAA West Regional in Oregon on Nov. 15...selected as CLU Female Athlete of the Week twice (Sept. 15-21, Oct. 13-19).

Saugus High School
Graduated from Saugus High School in Saugus, Calif. in 2008...participated on cross country, softball and basketball teams for the Centurions...ran for the school's back-to-back state championship cross country team and national runner-up.

Full name: Toccoa Anne Kahovec...born on June 23, 1990 in Valencia, Calif...one of Brian and Kathleen Kahovec's four children...has an older brother Brian who competed for CLU cross country and track...two younger brothers Curtis and Timmy, both play HS football and baseball...family resides in Saugus, Calif...chose CLU because it is a Christian school with a prestigious school of education where she could run cross country and track with her brother...has spent time during her breaks as a Sunday school teacher, camp counselor, and has volunteered for numerous church community service projects...currently majoring in liberal studies...career goal is to become a teacher.
