2014 (Water Polo)
Appeared in 14 games as a true freshman…made her CLU debut against Azusa Pacific (Feb. 14)…finished with five goals, five drawn ejections…four stelas and an assist…scored first career goal against Princeton (March 16)…had a hat-trick against Caltech (April 9) and also recorded three steals… inducted into CLU Scholar Athlete Society for first time.

Graduated in 2013…earned a varsity swimming letter and three varsity water polo letters for the Bulldogs…two-time (2012, 2013) All-Channel League Honorable Mention…named team MVP as a senior...selected as a captain in 2013…earned Fullerton Camps offensive MVP in 2012.

Full name: Katelyn Dembowski…born on June 2, 1995 in Ventura, Calif…parents are Ellyn and Jim…has an older sister Kellye Patterson and an older brother Ben Edwards…has a dog Flynn…family currently resides in Ventura, Calif…has volunteered at the Ventura Downtown Rotary Club Service Projects…credits her greatest personal sports moment to scoring the winning goal in her last Junior Olympics game…something you would not know about her is that she races sail boats…chose CLU because she fell in love with it…majoring in political science with a minor in legal studies with aspirations of working as a prosecutor and in a public sector in Washington.
