2012 (Track & Field)
National champion and All-American in Javelin at the 2012 NCAA Division III Women’s Track and Field Championships (May 26) in Claremont…recorded personal best of 47.14m on final throw…became first CLU women’s track and field athlete to win a national title…two-time All-SCIAC in Discus Throw and Javelin Throw at SCIAC Championships (April 27-28)…won the Javelin competition with a mark of 41.09m…placed fourth in Discus with a season best throw of 35.63m. 

2011 (Track & Field)
Took 18th place in the javelin (39.16m/128-6) at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 26-28)...recorded a new school record in the javelin with her throw of 42.61m (39-9), an NCAA provisional distance, at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 1 (Mar. 5)...named to the All-Conference team due to her finish in the javelin at the SCIAC Championships (Apr. 29-30)...finished third in the javelin, recording another NCAA provisional mark with her 39.60m (129-11) throw at the SCIAC Championships...also competed in the discus, recording a season-best 31.84m (104-5) at the SCIAC Championships.

2010 (Track & Field)
Finished fourth in the javelin at the SCIAC Championships with a mark of 38.87 meters...posted the best javelin throw at CLU since 1999 at 40.43 meters.

2009-10 (Basketball)
Appeared in 10 games and made one start...averaged 0.5 points and 0.4 rebounds in 5.1 minutes of floor time per game played.

2009 (Track & Field)
Was an All-SCIAC finisher at the conference championship meet taking third in the javelin (38.23m)...set the CLU program record as a freshman...finished 14th in the discus (25.90m).

2008-09 (Basketball)
Appeared in all 25 games and made three starts as a freshman...scored 50 total points and grabbed 25 rebounds...averaged 12.2 minutes of playing time per game.

Skyline High School
Member of Spartans varsity basketball team four years, along with track and field for two seasons...earned first team All-King Conference in basketball in 2007.

Full name: Britlyn Elizabeth Garrett... born on April 4, 1990 in Anaheim, Calif... is the oldest of Mike and Thayer Garrett's three children...has a brother Andrew who plays HS basketball and track and field and sister Kelly who plays HS volleyball and track and field...family resides in Sammamish, Wash...chose CLU for the amazing weather, business school and ability to play sports while being surrounded by great people...currently a Business Marketing major.
