2011 (Track & Field)
Named to the All-Conference team due to her finish in the triple jump at
the SCIAC Championships (Apr. 29-30)...set a new school record in the 
triple jump at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 3 (Apr. 16), recording a distance of 
11.14m (36-6.75)...also ranked 10th all-time in the long jump with her 
5.10m (16-8.75) effort that also took place at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 
3...finished fourth in the triple jump at the SCIAC Championships with her
10.97m (36-00) result...both distances are 2011 season-high 
marks...fourth year member of the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2010 (Track & Field)
Finished ninth in the triple jump at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 2 (9.60 
meters)...was second in the triple jump at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 1 (10.83 
meters) and third in the long jump (4.91 meters)...third-year member of 
CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2009 (Track & Field)
All-Conference finisher in the triple jump finishing third (10.76m) at 
the SCIAC Championships...also took seventh overall in the long jump 
(4.72m)...seasonal best of 10.85 in TJ ranks second in program history.

2008-09 (Basketball)
Appeared in 24-of-25 games and made 19 starts...ranked second on the Regals averaging 9.7 points per game...led the team with 37 steals.

2008 (Track & Field)
Scored as a freshman at the SCIAC Championships taking fourth in the 
triple jump (10.77m)...also finished 11th in the long jump 
(4.69m)...seasonal best in LJ of 5.08m ranked in program's all-time 
top-10.

2007-08 (Basketball)
Appeared in 25 games and made nine starts as a freshman...averaged 5.2 points in 18.5 minutes per game...contributed 31 assists and 26 steals.

Rancho Bernardo High School
Member of Broncos varsity track and field and basketball teams all four 
years...holds RBHS record for steals in a game (11)...honorable mention 
All-Palomar League in basketball.

Full name: Kourtney Mechele Jones...born on September 27, 1989 in 
Chesapeake, Va...is the youngest of Julius and Gail Jones three 
children...has an older brother Julius who competed in track at LMU...and a
sister Jennifer who competed in HS track and basketball...family 
resides in San Diego, Calif...currently majoring in Criminal Justice with a
minor in Sociology...career plans include working with a non-profit, 
social work, going to law school and earning a J.D.
