2011
Finished 10th in the discus (31.53m/103-5) and 17th in both the hammer 
(25.34m/83-2) and javelin (24.01m/78-9) at the SCIAC Championships (Apr.
29-30)...set a new personal record in the discus with her throw of 33.47m
(109-10) at the Westmont Collegiate Classic (Mar. 26)...other top 
distances recorded throughout the season include a 29.97m (98-4) effort 
in the hammer at the Westmont Collegiate Classic and a throw of 24.01m 
(78-9) in the javelin at the SCIAC Championships.

2010
Took ninth in the discus at the SCIAC Championships with a throw of 
30.27 meters...was 15th in the hammer throw (26.32 meters) and 18th in 
the javelin (24.81 meters)...posted 10th best javelin mark in CLU 
history at 27.41 meters.

2009
Competed in four different events at the SCIAC Championship meet...top 
finish was tied for ninth in the discus (28.28m)...also took 12th in the
shot put (8.52m), 18th in the hammer (27.64m) and 22nd in the javelin 
(21.29m).

2008
Competed in three different events at the SCIAC Championship meet as a 
freshman...top finish came in the javelin (25.96m) taking 10th 
overall...also finished 15th in both the shot put (7.92m) and hammer 
(23.92m).

Sherman E. Burroughs High School
Played varsity soccer four years and member of Burros track and field 
team three seasons...selected SEBHS Senior Student-Athlete of the Year 
in 2007...honorable mention Desert Sky League for soccer as senior.

Full name: Dorothea Noel Cornell...born on November 30, 1989 in 
Ridgecrest, Calif...one of Gill and Dorie Cornell's two children...has an 
older brother Eddie who competed for LBSU in track and field...family 
currently resides in Ridgecrest, Calif...majoring in Bio-Engineering 
with minor in Mathematics...career plans include becoming a 
Scientist/Engineer at China Lake Naval Weapons Center.
