Competed in twelve events as a freshman for the Regals … earned three personal-best at Banana Slug Invitational: 2:31.99 in the 200-back, 4:16.17 in the 400-free relay, 1:08.84 in the 100-fly...additionally achieved nine more personal best at six different meets...1:02.15 in the 100-free, 1:13.71 in the 100-individual medley at Malibu Invitational...32.67 in the 50-back, 30.77 in the 50-fly at the Cal Lutheran Sprint Meet...2:16.41 in the 200-free at Chapman...1:10.90 in the 100-back at Pomona-Pitzer...2:00.36 in the 200-medley relay...1:57.22 in the 200-free relay and 2:49.06 in the 200-fly at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps/La Verne....Inducted into the Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

Notre Dame HS ‘18: Earned varsity letters all four years… 2018 Varsity team captain and 3 year CIF-SS qualifier… Volunteered at Gentle Barn, Santa Clarita Senior Center, and Midnight Mission

Personal: From Santa Clarita, California… Parents are: Luz Montero and Eric Holtz… Has two siblings: Kirin and Dorian… Earned the Holy Cross Academic Award, Archdiocese of Los Angeles Service Award, Notre Dame High School Service Award, National Honor Society Member, and Spanish Honor Society Member… Participated on the Canyons Aquatic Club Swim Team… Chose Cal Lutheran because of the “extremely welcoming environment, and the academic and athletic opportunities that it presented for me as a student athlete.”
