2017 (Softball) Enhanced Stats
Started all 34 games in which she appeared in centerfield as a junior…batted primarily in the second spot with three starts as the leadoff batter…accumulated a .295 batting average with 28 hits…had a nine-game hit streak during the season and reached base in 10 straight…drew six walks…scored 16 runs for the Regals…stole six bases…recorded seven multi-hit games with a three-hit game against Occidental (April 22)…defensively she was perfect with 48 putouts and two assists and was often seen diving and sliding to make catches for the Regals.

2016 (Softball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Appeared in 33 games, making 24 starts, as a sophomore for the Regals…transitioned from an outfielder in her first season to primarily playing  in the infield (third base, second base) with stints as the designated player in 2016…batted 2.09 (9-for-43) with four sacrifices and three walks…scored 11 runs…stole two bases…went 2-for-2 against Chapman (April 16)…also had two hits at Pomona-Pitzer (April 22)…defensively, she posted a .909 fielding percentage with 25 putouts and 25 assists…was part of two double-plays.

2015 (Softball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Appeared in 25 games while making 11 starts in the outfield during freshman campaign…batted .429 (6-for-14) with two RBIs and scored seven runs…led the team with three stolen bases…went 2-for-2 with a run scored against San Diego Christian (Jan. 31)…inducted into the CLU Scholar Athlete Society.

Full name: Jacy Watanabe…born on July 27, 1996 in Honolulu, Hawaii…parents are Debbie and Kyle Watanabe and has a stepmother Wendy Watanabe…has three siblings, Tory (21), stepbrother Brandon (27) and half brother Jaydon (8)…has two dogs named Twinkie and Bailey…chose CLU to play softball and live away from home for the first time…majoring in biology...aspiring to become a veterinarian...most vast memory of CLU Athletics was making it to the postseason tournament last year.
