2015 (Track & Field)
Placed 12^th overall in the 3000m Steeplechase at the SCIAC Championships (May 2) with a time of 10:25.40…also competed in the 5000m where he placed 42^nd with a time of 16:36.99…named to the SCIAC All-Academic team.

2014 (Track & Field)
Took 14th in the 3000m Steeplechase at the SCIAC Championships in a time of 10:26.78 (May 3)...also competed in the 5000m race for the Kingsmen, finishing it in a time of 17:03.50...inducted into CLU Scholar Athlete Society for the fourth time...also selected to the SCIAC All-Academic Team...earned USTFCCA All-Academic recognition.

2013 (Cross Country)
Ran a time of 29:23.49 at the NCAA West Regionals (Nov. 16)...also clocked a time of 29:11.37 at the SCIAC Championships (Nov. 2)...inducted into CLU Scholar Athlete Society for the fourth time...selected to the SCIAC All-Academic Team.

2013 (Track & Field)
Took tenth at the SCIAC No. 1 in the 3000 meter steeple chase with a time of 11:08....was eighth at the SCIAC No. 2 in the same event with a time of 10:57.05...ran in the 1500 meter race at the Point Loma Nazarene and had a time of 4:31.40...was at his best at the SCIAC No. 3 with a season best finish and time in the 3000m steepleachase with a time of 10:39.35.

2012 (Cross Country)
Placed 90th at the SCIAC Championships in a time of 29:52.37 as the sixth CLU finisher…ran a 28:31.10 6K at the West Regionals to place 117th…ran his fastest 6K time of the season, 22:59, at the 2012 Westmont College Cross Country Invitational.  

2011 (Cross Country)
Finished 84th overall at the SCIAC Multi-Dual Meet (Oct. 15) with a time of 30:55.99… recorded a time of 29:56.19 for a 80th place finish at the SCIAC Cross Country Championships (Oct. 29)…finished 104th overall with a time of 28:58.0 at the NCAA Division III West Regional Cross Country Championships (Nov. 12).

2011 (Track & Field)
Finished 39th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:58.71 at the SCIAC Championships (April 29-30)...other top times recorded throughout his inaugural season at Cal Lutheran include a 4:32.67 in the 1,500m at the Westmont Collegiate Classic (Mar. 26) and 10:57.75 in the 3,000m Steeplechase at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 3 (Apr. 16)...first year member of the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2010 (Cross Country)
Finished 74th overall at SCIAC Championships (29:32.96) at the SCIAC Championships...finished the 8k run at the SCIAC Multi-Duals (31:01.15) taking 80th overall...first year member of the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

Quartz Hill High School
Graduated from Quartz Hill High School in Lancaster, Calif. in 2010...spent four seasons on the cross country and track and field teams for the Rebels...finished ninth in the league in cross country.

Full name: Shawn Charles Jackson...born on Oct. 14, 1991 in Lancaster, Calif...son of Troy and Suzy...has a younger sister Allison who plays volleyball, tennis, and track for her high school...family currently resides in Palmdale, Calif…worked for Camp Helping Hands, a co-ed summer day camp with service-learning as its core theme...chose CLU because the coaches left an amazing impression after his visit and he wanted to run in college...currently majoring in mathematics...career goals are to teach and coach.
