2011 (Track & Field)
Named to the All-Conference team due to his finish in the shot put, 
discus, and hammer throw at the SCIAC Championships (Apr. 
29-30)...finished fifth in the shot put (14.48m/47-6.25), hammer throw 
(48.68/159-8), and sixth in the discus (44.72/146-9) at the SCIAC 
Championships...after setting two new personal records in the discus and 
shot put at the SCIAC Championships, Vermillion set a new season-high 
mark of 48.73m (159-10) in the hammer throw the following week at the 
Occidental Invitational (May 7).

2010 (Track & Field)
Was seventh in the hammer throw at the SCIAC Championships with a throw 
of 47.84...took ninth in the shot put (12.72 meters)...was 10th in the 
discus (40.19 meters)...posted 12th place in the javelin (41.24 meters).

2009 (Track & Field)
Did not compete on the track and field team...used redshirt.

2008 (Track & Field)
SCIAC Champion in the hammer throw (48.86m) as a freshman...was longest 
distance thrown in 30 years...finished fourth in the discus (43.59m) and
11th in the shot put (12.13m).

2007 (Football)
Appeared in seven games for the Kingsmen football team...made two tackles (one solo) as part of the defensive unit.

Fresno State University
Attended FSU during 2006-07 season...competed for Bulldogs track and field team...transferred to CLU following academic year.

Redwood High School
Earned varsity letter in two sports for the Rangers...did so all four 
years in track and field along with three seasons of 
football...four-time WY League champion in the discus...earned All-CIF 
honors in discipline.

Full name: Peter Gene Vermillion...born on February 15, 1988 in Fresno, 
Calif...the oldest of Colleen and Dennis Vermillion's three kids...has a
brother Daniel and sister Heather...is also a fullback on the CLU 
football team...family currently resides in Visalia, Calif...majoring in
Psychology.
