Battled injuries all season long but still appeared in five games...finished with two tackles.

2011 (Track & Field)
Named to the All-Conference team due to his finish in the discus at the SCIAC Championships (Apr. 29-30)...set a new school record in the discus at the SCIAC Championships, and extended that mark the following week to 49.73m (163-2) with his NCAA provisional throw at the Occidental Invitational (May 7)...took first place and captured an individual title in the discus with his throw of 49.19m (161-5), a NCAA provisional mark, and finished in seventh place in the hammer throw (44.89m/147-3) at the SCIAC Championships...recorded his longest distances of the season in the javelin and shot put with his throws of 38.41m (126-00) and 11.60m (38-00.75) respectively at SCIAC Quad Meet No. 1 (Mar. 5)...named Cal Lutheran and SCIAC Athlete of the Week following the week of May 2-8.

2010 (Track & Field)
Took seventh in the discus at the SCIAC Championships with a long throw of 44.19 meters...was 11th in the shot put (12.02 meters)...finished 12th in the hammer throw (42.42 meters)...was 18th in the javelin (36.56 meters).

2009 (Track & Field)
Competed in four different throwing events at the SCIAC Championship meet...highest finish was 12th in the discus (36.69m)...also took 16th in the javelin, 17th in the hammer and 21st in the shot put.

Oak Ridge High School
Two-year varsity member of Trojans football and track and field teams...two-time league champion in the discus...fourth longest discus mark in ORHS history...member of 2007 league champion track and field team.

Full name: Adam Francis Hayes...born on October 30, 1990 in El Dorado Hills, Calif...the youngest of Patricia and Brett Hayes' three children...has two older sisters Rachelle and Andrea...family resides in El Dorado Hills, Calif...chose CLU because he was recruited to play football and run track...currently majoring in Business...career aspirations are to open a SCUBA diving business in Hawaii.
