2013 (Tennis) Season Stats
Earned All-America status for both singles and doubles play with Ray Worley at the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Individual Championships…doubles team advanced to the Semifinals…duo earned No . 1 national ranking entering NCAAs…also qualified for singles as the No. 1 ranked player…advanced to the Round of 16 to earn All-America…named the SCIAC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season…went a perfect 26-0 during the regular season…defeated 16 ranked opponents while playing as CLU’s No. 1…captured the 2013 Ojai Tennis Tournament singles championship for the second consecutive year (April 27-28)…went 8-0 in SCIAC matches…held the No. 1 ranking in the West Region for the duration of the season…was taken to three sets only three times in 26 matches, all by Warren Wood of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps…helped lead CLU to a second consecutive second place finish in the SCIAC… currently has 75 career singles victories …combined to go 26-3 with Worley as CLU’s No. 1 doubles team…avenged a 2012 finals loss in the 2013 Ojai Doubles Championship to capture the title with Worley…had a 16-game win-streak during the season…named the 2013 CLU Male co-Athlete of the Year with Eric Rogers (football)…finished ranked No. 3 in the country as an individual and No. 3 with Worley in doubles…CLU finished ranked No. 7 in the nation.

 

2012 (Tennis)
Earned two All-America honors and finished the season ranked the No. 2 singles player in the nation for Division III...undefeated in SCIAC play in both singles and doubles (18-0)…led the Kingsmen team to a season high national ranking of No. 5…advanced to the NCAA Division III Individual Championship final, finishing as the 2012 runner-up...with doubles teammate Ray Worley went undefeated against nationally ranked opponents (4-0) and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Men’s National Championships...named SCIAC Player of the Year and VC Star Ventura County Athlete of the Year...credits making NCAA finals and being named the AOY as his greatest personal sports moment.

 

2011 (Tennis)
Began his sophomore season by winning the singles title at the Fall 2010 United States Tennis and Intercollegiate Tennis Association (USTA/ITA) Small College Regional Championships...finished third at the 2010 USTA/ITA Small College National Championships...posted an undefeated 5-0 singles record...was ranked as high as No. 3 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association...was the top-ranked singles player in the west region before suffering a season-ending injury...earned two victories against nationally ranked foes...posted a 3-2 record as CLU's No. 1 doubles team with teammate Ray Worley during the inaugural weeks of the season...used medical redshirt.

2010 (Tennis)
Earned First Team All-SCIAC honors as a freshman...qualified for both the NCAA Individual National Championships in singles and doubles...ranked as high as No. 8 in ITA West Region singles and No. 1 in doubles with partner Andrew Giuffrida...pairing made it to National Championship semifinals...won 36 straight matches singles and doubles combined to begin collegiate career...posted 16-3 singles record as CLU No. 2 player...went 6-4 against regionally ranked opponents...named CLU Male Athlete of the Week (March 29-April 4).
