The 2011 Cal Lutheran Senior Athlete of the Year competed in the NCAA
Championships as a singles qualifier for the third consecutive
season...received All-SCIAC First Team recognition...awarded the West
Region Arthur Ashe Award by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association
(ITA)...was ranked as high as No. 10 nationally and No. 3 in the West
Region by the ITA...led the team with 22 singles victories...compiled a 6-5
record against regionally ranked opponents...posted a 12-5 record against
regionally ranked opposition...ended the season with a 22-5 overall
singles record...ended the season with a 7-1 SCIAC singles record, tying
teammate Ray Worley for the best conference singles record on the
team...competed as the Kingsmen's primary No. 1 singles player...only
dropped three of 21 dual matches played...emerged victorious in his first
eight straight singles matches (Feb. 5-Mar. 14)...also built a four (Apr.
23-29) and eight-match win streak (Mar. 27-Apr. 22)...ended the season
with a 13-10 overall, and 6-3 SCIAC doubles record...finished with a 0-1
doubles record when partnered with Marcelo Sousa, 1-3 overall record
when teamed with Justin Wilson, and 12-6 when competing alongside
Worley...he and Worley competed as CLU's No. 1 doubles team, and were
ranked as his as No. 17 nationally and No. 5 in the West Region by the
ITA...he and Worley finished the 2011 season with a 6-3 record against
SCIAC teams...the duo were 3-1 against doubles teams that were ranked
nationally, and 4-3 against regionally ranked foes...possessed both a four
(Apr. 16-23) and five-match doubles win streak (Feb. 22-Mar. 17)...named
Cal Lutheran Athlete of the Week for his successes earned during the
week of April 18-24.
2010
Named SCIAC Player of the Year...ITA West Region Player to Watch award
winner...earned NCAA Division III All-American status in both singles
and doubles...combined for 41 wins in both singles and doubles
play...NCAA Individual National Championships qualifier in both singles
and doubles...ranked as high as No. 1 in both singles and doubles in the
ITA West Region polls...earned preseason singles ITA National Rankings
of No. 8...finished 19-5, 7-1 SCIAC in singles play...posted a 6-2 mark
against nationally ranked foes...10-4 versus regionally ranked
opponents...made it to the Round of 16 singles bracket at the Ojai
Invitational (Apr. 23-24)...teamed up with Nick Ballou to win first 20
doubles matches of season...pairing made it to the National Championship
semifinals...named CLU Male Athlete of the Week twice (Mar. 15-21, Apr.
5-11).

Selected to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III
All-American Team in singles...named to All-SCIAC first team during
first season with Kingsmen...finished season with No. 4 West and No. 19
ITA national rankings...went 19-3 at No. 1 singles during regular season
including 9-1 in SCIAC play...finished 17-6, 7-3 SCIAC in doubles
competitions...semifinalist at Ojai Invitational...NCAA Championships
qualifier...selected CLU Male Athlete of the Week twice (Feb. 23-Mar. 1,
May 18-24).

Finished freshman regular season 5-7 in singles competitions...went 2-2
as the No. 5 seed...finished 2-6 in doubles action...transferred to Cal
