2013-14 (Swimming)
Earned All-SCIAC honor as a part of the 200 freestyle relay team that finished third at the SCIAC Championships (Feb. 21)...also had three season-best individual times at the year-end conference meet...swam the 50 free in a time of 22.15, the 100 free in 47.90 and the 200 free in 1:45.16.

2013 (Water Polo)
In his final season for CLU led the team in field blocks with 10…started three times with 25 total appearances in 2013…came up with 25 steals defensively…contributed offensively with 13 goals, 13 assists and 11 drawn ejections…best all-around game of the year came against La Verne (Nov. 23) at SCIAC Championships when he contributed three assists, two drawn ejections, a goal and a steal…eight games with two or more steals…season-high three steals against Occidental (Nov. 16)…three field blocks against Whittier (Oct. 23)…scored three times against Cerritos (Sept. 27)…drew three ejections against Pomona-Pitzer (Oct. 16).

2012-13 (Swimming)
Recorded three season-best times at the SCIAC Championships (Feb. 17-19) in the 50 Free (22.14), 100 Free (48.88) and 100 Breast (1:03.54)…fastest times of the season also include a 1:52.18 in the 200 Free at Caltech (Feb. 2).

2011-12 (Swimming)
Recorded two season best times against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Jan. 28) in the 50 Free (22.99) and the 100 Free (50.42)…fastest times during the season also include a 1:54.01 in the 200 Free at the Finis Collegiate Invitational (Dec. 9) and a 1:06.96 in the 100 Breast against Redlands (Jan. 21). 

2011 (Water Polo) 
First year member of the Kingsmen water polo team...scored eight goals with four assists and five drawn ejections...contributed with 16 steals.

Arizona State University
Attended ASU for two years...did not participate in intercollegiate athletics.

Agoura High School
Two-year member of Chargers varsity water polo and swim programs...earned First Team All-Marmonte League honors in 2009 and Third Team All-Marmonte League in 2007…named to the 2007 Third Team All CIF and 1008 Second Team All CIF…earned Daily News Honorable Mention in 2008 and Ventura County Star First Team honors in 2008…member of 2007 water polo CIF championship team…named 2008 water polo captain and swimming captain…two-time First Team All-Marmonte League for swimming.

Full name: David Richard Sparks...born on June 4, 1991...the youngest of Michael and Dani Sparks' three sons...Adam played water polo at AHS...Joseph played water polo at AHS and Arizona State...family currently resides in Agoura Hills, Calif...volunteered working the Swimming Special Olympics...majoring in exercise science...career goal is to become a physical therapist.
