2014 (Football) - Season Stats Enhanced Stats  
Started the season at quarterback before making a switch to wide-receiver…played six games as wide receiver and became one of the top targets in the passing game…finished third on the team with 35 receptions and 320 yards…made nine catches for 79 yards in first game as a wideout against Redlands on Oct. 11…had eight catches against Chapman (Oct. 25) and once more against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Nov. 1)…rushed 14 times for 83 yards and one touchdown…was 12-of-19 for 113 yards and one touchdown during time spent at quarterback…named to the SCIAC All-Academic team...inducted into the CLU Scholar Athlete Society for the second time. 

 

2013 (Football) - Season Stats
Will be one of the top returing quarterbacks in 2014 after emerging as a stand-out dual-threat quarterback over the final four games...served as team's holder through first five games before coming on as quarterback in the fourth quarter of the Occidental game...trailing by 17 points, Rico nearly led CLU to the come-from-behind win leading the Kingsmen to two scoring drives in the fourth quarter...in a little over a quarter of action he finished with 101 yards passing and 50 more rushing...the following week, he earned his first start against Whittier and took his first carry 54 yards...led the Kingsmen to scores on their first five possessions and finished the game 9-of-10 passing for 192 yards and touchdown...also rushed nine times of 154 yards...against La Verne, was similarily impressive going 14-of-21 for 199 yards while churning out 125 yards and two touchdowns on the ground...had a career-day passing against Chapman in the season finale, finishing with a season-high 270 yards and two touchdowns on 19 completions...despite starting just three games he still ranked eighth in the conference with 762 yards passing...also finished in the top ten of the SCIAC with 371 yards rushing...scored on a fake field goal run earlier in the season against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Served as back-up quarterback in debut season for CLU...appeared in two games...made collegiate debut against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and rushed for a season-long 12 yards against the Stags (Oct. 13)...also saw action against Occidental (Oct. 20)...inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.
