Capped off an outstanding four-year CLU career after starting every game for the third consecutive season…started all 44 games in right field…finished with a .361 batting average (60-for-166), 38 runs and 35 RBIs…tied for the team lead with 21 walks…ranked second with 16 doubles and totaled 21 extra-base hits…hit two homeruns…fourth with a .530 slugging percentage…had 20 multi-hit games…scored two or more runs in a game 14 times…moved up in nine different CLU all-time career Top-10 lists…ranks second all-time with 157 games played…ranks third with 138 career RBIs,  130 runs and 73 walks…ranks fourth with 46 doubles…tied for fifth with seven triples…ranks seventh with 185 total hits and 530 at-bats…ranks eighth with 272 total bases…one of just nine student-athletes to be a four-time inductee into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society in 2016 for the fourth time.

2015 (Baseball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Played in all 44 games for the Kingsmen as the right fielder…garnered First Team ABCA All-West Region accolades…named First Team D3baseball.com All-West Region and earned First Team All-SCIAC recognition…drove in 54 runs to lead the conference and ranked 12^th in the nation…also led the league with 19 doubles…finished the season with a .368 batting average…ranked second for CLU and third in the SCIAC with 63 hits…tied for team lead with three homeruns…was strong defensively with a .989 fielding percentage and five assists in 92 total chances…totaled 17 multi-hit games…had a hit in 37 out of 44 total games…tied for team lead with three triples…had a career-high five RBIs after going 3-for-3 with two doubles against Caltech (Feb. 28)…had three hits in a game nine times…named to the SCIAC All-Academic team…inducted into the CLU Scholar Athlete Society for the third time.

2014 (Baseball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Became one of the top outfielders in the West Region…earned ABCA All-West Region Second Team honors…was the only Kingsmen to play and start in all 46 games…hit fourth for CLU and was second on the team with 42 RBIs…batted .300 with 48 hits…led CLU with four home runs and was second in runs scored with 45…also had nine doubles…was second on the team with eight stolen bases…walked 31 times to lead the SCIAC and single season total was seventh most in school history…also led the Kingsmen with 14 hit by pitches…had 11 multi-RBI games…was 3-for-6 with a home run and four RBIs against Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 22)…was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs against Whittier (Apr. 12)…went 2-for-3 with a home run that cleared the CLU scoreboard and two runs scored against La Verne (Apr. 18)…later in the series he was 2-for-4 with three RBIs against the Leopards (Apr. 19)…was the only Kingsmen to record a hit in all four NCAA West Regional games…inducted into CLU Scholar Athlete Society for second time…selected to the SCIAC All-Academic Team.

2013 (Baseball) Season Stats
Burst into the starting lineup as CLU made its run into the postseason…batted .424 after appearing in 23 games while starting the final nine…had two doubles, one triple and seven RBIs…had breakout game in the SCIAC Tournament semifinal game against Redlands when he was 3-for-5 for three RBIs and a run scored in a 5-2 win (May 4)…was 3-for-8 in three games during the NCAA regional…inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

Taft High School
Graduated in 2012…played two years of varsity baseball for the Toreadors…named Second Team All-West Valley League in 2011 and First Team All-West Valley League in 2012…named First Team All-City in 2012…All-State nominee.

Full name: Ramsey Abushahla…born February 27, 1995 in Los Angeles, Calif…parents are Angela and Fady Abushahla…has a brother, Jordan who plays baseball at Pierce College and a sister, Yasmeen…family resides in Woodland Hills, Calif…chose CLU because of the proximity to home and the opportunity to play baseball…currently majoring in Communications... most vast memory of CLU athletics was winning the 2014 SCIAC Tournament.
