Obasi Dees led the Kingsmen at the SCIAC Multi-Dual Meet No. 1 which was hosted by Caltech at Redlands' Ashel Cunningham Track. Dees was runner-up in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.83 seconds. He broke into the CLU record books with that time, tying for the ninth best in school history. Dees also placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.03.
