The Kingsmen recorded 23 shots compared to the Bulldogs' 11. Cal Lutheran kept the Bulldog goalkeeper busy with eight of those being on goal. Sharts made key saves for the Kingsmen and recoded three saves to help his team to the SCIAC Tournament semis.

In the 12th minute the Kingsmen had a chance to take the early lead as Chris Pelaez dribbled down the middle of the field. He was a few yards outside the box and fired a shot to the bottom left corner, but the Bulldog goalie was there for the save.

Cal Lutheran kept the shots coming. In the 19th minute, Pelaez passed to a streaking Giovanni Torres. The goalie came out to contest, and Torres tipped the ball mover the goalie, just to the left of the goal.

Redlands got the first goal of the game with the first half winding down. The Bulldogs scored in the 43rd minute and took the lead into the half.

The Kingsmen continued to have chances in the second half. Cal Lutheran had a corner kick in the 51st minute, and with the ball bouncing around the box, Lumbrano took a strike. His shot was just to the right of the goal and the Bulldogs exhaled again.

Cal Lutheran kept the shots coming. Pelaez took a shot that sailed over the top right corner. A few moments later, the Kingsmen had a free kick and Cesar Sagustume put the ball in the top left corner, but the Bulldog goalie was there again.

The Kingsmen had the equalizer in the 67th minute. Preston Fleming crossed the ball, Bruno Mostajo Torres crossed it back, and Sherard headed in the equalizer.

In the 79th and 81st minute, Torres had back-to-back opportunities, but could not convert. Lumbrano also had a shot a few seconds as he drilled a shot to the left side, but it was saved again.
