Competed in eight events as a freshman for the Kingsmen… Recorded three of his best times at the SCIAC Swimming and Diving Championships: 1:44.18 in the 200-free, 4:35.13 in the 500-free and 15:59.26 in the 1650-free… Additionally recorded his best 50-free of 23.88 at the UC Santa Cruz Slug Invite; best 500-free of 51.07 at the Pomona Challenge; his best 1000-free of 10:01.47 against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps; best 2:03.16 in the 200-individual medley in the tri-meet against Laverne and Redlands; and his best in the 400-individual medley of 4:24.62 against Whittier.
