To end the first quarter, Lasher found Ben Anderson – who went 5-5 on the night — on the left side to make it 14-7. The momentum kept going when the second quarter started when the Lutes fumbled on a kickoff that was recovered by Julio Angel. Pacific Lutheran's mistake was converted into a touchdown pass down the middle from Lasher to Jones.
