What year's where you at Cal Lutheran and what made you want to come here?

I was at Cal Lu between 2010 and graduated 2013. I got recruited to play football for the Kingsmen and decided the attend after my visit to the campus. It was one of the greatest decisions I made.

While at Cal Lutheran, what was your experience like?

I loved every bit of going to school at Cal Lu. I enjoyed meeting all the individual people from different walks of life and loved the small school atmosphere.

How was your experience with the team and other athletes?

Being apart of the Kingsmen football team was different because it turned into a family type environment that one could only understand and experience unless you were apart of the football team. We also got along with all the other sports and athletes as we all attending their games to show our support as they did for us.

What is your current job, and how did Cal Lutheran prepare you for that?

I am currently a Police Officer for the City of Buena Park. Cal Lu helped me with my career by interacting with different people from different areas and learned how to adapt and communicate which many do not get the opportunity to do.

How did being a student-athlete prepare you for your professional career?

Being a student athlete helped me with my current career by learning how to prioritize my workload, by being a leader that someone can look up to for guidance, for doing what is right when the spotlight is on you and also when it's not, by paying attention to details and making the little things matter just as much as the big things.

What is a typical day at your job?

I can't say their is a typical day for me. It could be a very quiet day at work where minimal people need my assistance and there are minimal criminals in our city to the complete opposite where I'm very busy for 12.5 hours of my shift. Honestly, that's what I love about my job it can go from dull to an adrenaline rush in a matter of a second.

Did you know you always wanted to do this, or when did you know what you wanted to do?

Before transferring to Cal Lu I was a architect major because I love to draw and work on computers but when I got to Cal Lu I switched my Major to Criminal Justice and loved every second of it. It is the perfect fit for because I get to interact with people and my city is my office.

What does it mean to you to be a Kingsmen?

To me a Kingsmen is more then just me and the sport I played. A Kingsmen represents Cal Lu as a whole and is respectful.  Loves to represent our school proudly. It is bigger then a individual person and team because once a Kingsmen always a Kingsmen #ALLIN
