Haddad Garners Fourth Consecutive All-America Honor; Second Time in Program History

LEXINGTON, Ky. — More history for Maci Haddad! She is the second Cal Lutheran women's volleyball student-athlete to be a four-time All-America honoree and landed on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Third Team.

Haddad was named Honorable Mention in 2018 and 2019 and is now Third Team in back-to-back years, 2021 and 2022. The 2022 class includes 42 players—14 on the first, second, and third teams—from 26 schools.

Haddad is on a list with  Jackie (Russell) Griffin as she earned All-American for the fourth time. Three more Regals, Kylie McLogan, Michelle Lawrence and Sarah Pappas, each garnered the All-America three times.

"This fourth consecutive All-America nod is a tribute to the work ethic, commitment, belief and love that Maci consistently displayed throughout her storied career at Cal Lutheran, said Head Women's Volleyball Coach Kellee Roesel. "Though her athletic accomplishments have been extensive and impressive over her career as a Regal, it is her character and her faith that are her strongest qualities. The lasting impact she will have on this program is one that myself, her assistant coaches and teammates are forever grateful for. It has been my distinct honor and privilege to have been her Coach.

In the nation, Haddad ranks 11th in hitting percentage with an incredible .402. She also ranked 51st in blocks per set with 0.97 and 54th in total blocks with 96. She recorded 297 kills and added 50 digs, 21 assists and 12 aces.
