Regals Volleyball Annual “Aces for ALS” Match Set for Sept. 23rd

THOUSAND OAKS, Calf.  Cal Lutheran women's volleyball is hosting its annual ALS awareness game, Aces for ALS, on Sept. 23rd. This is the second year that Regals volleyball have had a match supporting this cause.

Anyone can sponsor a player, or the team, by donating any amount of money, for every score by a service ace. All donations are raised in the honor of Kevin Heller, the father of Cal Lutheran and women's volleyball alumna Lauren Heller, who passed away in January of 2021.

The donations will support the mission of the Golden West Chapter of The ALS Association. Any amount is appreciated. Show more support by using the hashtag #Aces4ALS.

Kevin was a beloved son, brother, husband and father. He was a Christian, Army veteran and a West Point graduate. After he was diagnosed with ALS, Kevin devoted himself to the ALS Association Golden West Chapter's Napa Valley Ride and became the top fundraiser two-times in a row as well as an active committee member for the ride. His passion for life, and his fight with ALS, also inspired the tag-line, #GiveEmHeller.
