Bennett Added to Women’s Volleyball Coaching Staff; Head Coach for JV

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.  California Lutheran University has hired alumnus Alec Bennett as a women's volleyball assistant coach. He is also the head coach of the junior varsity program. 

Bennett has five-plus years of coaching experience working with El Camino Real Charter High School, La Reina Middle School, de Toledo High School and club teams LAVA and SMBC. 

Bennett attended Cal Lutheran and played on the Kingsmen volleyball team from 2017-21. In the season record book, he is fifth with 165 digs. For his career, he has 353 digs which are fifth-most. 

He received a B.S in computer science in 2020, with minors in mathematics and religion. He continued his education with a M.S in information technology with an emphasis in data analytics.
