Jordan Egertson began coaching at California Lutheran University in 2014 and is an assistant coach for the men's and women's track and field programs. He is the high jump coach and recruiting coordinator.

During his tenure, he has produced seven All-SCIAC selections, two SCIAC champions, and Cal Lutheran is second in overall SCIAC points for high jump.

Before joining CLU, he coached long, triple, and high jump locally at a variety of levels for more than a decade. During that span, he coached numerous CIF and State Championship finalists, including two state champions.

A 1996 graduate of CLU, he earned a degree in liberal arts, with and emphasis in psychology. He also holds a Secondary Teaching Credential in physical education from Chapman University.

Egertson lives in Thousand Oaks with his wife Karen ('97). They have two children, Jonah 22, and Aliena 19.
