2011 (Track & Field)
The 2011 Cal Lutheran Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year was also named 
to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic 
All-District VIII Track and Field/Cross Country team...recorded the 
fifth-fastest all-time result in the 5,000m run with his 15:13.01 effort
at the Occidental Distance Carnival (Mar. 11)...also clocked the 
eighth-fastest time in CLU history in the 10,000m run with his time of 
32:16.34 at the Cal/Nevada Championships (Mar. 27)...finished 11th in the 
5000m run, tirning in an effort of 15:36.38 at the SCIAC Championships 
(Apr. 29-30)...fourth year member of CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2010 (Track & Field)
Took seventh in the 5,000 meter run at the SCIAC Championships with a 
time of 15:31.39...set the CLU record in the 3,000 meter at 
9:02.71...posted the seventh best time in CLU history in the 5,000 
meters at 15:30.36 and the ninth best time in the 10,000 meters 
(32:32.72)...third-year member of CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2009 (Track & Field)
Finished 15th in the 5,000 meters (15:44.76) at the SCIAC Championship meet.

2008 (Track & Field)
Finished 16th in the 5,000 meters (16:17.22) at the SCIAC Championship meet.

Hayward High School
Earned varsity letter for the Hurricanes all four years...lettered once 
in track and field and twice in cross country skiing...earned All-WIAA 
honors in 2005 and 2006...XC state qualifier 2004-06.

Wis...the oldest of Matt Ostrander and Elizabeth Riley's three children... 
has two younger brothers Walter and Louis...family resides in Hayward, 
Wis...double major in Geology and Environmental Science.
