REDLANDS, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran men's golf team set two program records, lowest round and lowest 54-hole score, at the Bulldog Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. 

The Kingsmen's final round of 275 was six strokes better than the previous mark, set in  2001, 2005 and 2019. Their 54-hole score of 856 broke the program record by one stroke, which was set in 2019.

The invite came down to the final round and holes as 13 strokes separated the leaders on Tuesday afternoon. The Cal Lutheran men's golf team finished in seventh-place at 16-over-par. The Violet and Gold got better each day, carding a 295 in round one, 286 over round two and the 275 in round three. 

Jot Singh was the lowest for Cal Lutheran. He placed 13^th and was 3-over-par with 213 strokes (74-69-70). He recorded the fourth-most birdies at the tournament with 13 and added one eagle. His total of 213 strokes is fourth in program history for a 54-hole event. 

JP Guimaraes Jr. and Tanner Stewart made it three Kingsmen in the top-15 and tied for 14^th at 4-over-par. Guimaraes Jr. tied for the fifth-lowest round in program history as he fired a 66 over the final round. He shot a 76 in the first round and a 72 in the second for 214 strokes. Stewart posted a 73 in each of the first two rounds before improving with a 68 in the third. Their three-round score of 214 is tied for fifth in program history. 

Also competing for the team score was Adam Cartozian and Hudson Solters. Cartozian tied for 42^nd at 10-over-par (72-76-72-220) and Solters tied for 50^th at 13-over-par (80-72-71-223).

Playing individually was Aaron Moore and Jacob Fox. Moore tied for 31^st at 7-over-par (71-71-75-217) and Fox withdrew from the event. 

The Kingsmen have one more event in the fall before getting ready for their spring season. Cal Lutheran is at the Oglethorpe Invitational on October 10-11.
