Ryan Jorgenson was named Cal Lutheran's Sports Information Director in the fall of 2017. Jorgenson oversees all media relations and publications of Cal Lutheran's 22 NCAA Division III athletic teams.

During his tenure at Cal Lutheran, Jorgenson has helped the athletics department host two NCAA regionals, including women's soccer's run to the Sweet 16. Jorgenson and his staff have also hosted many SCIAC Postseason Tournament games. 

Prior to CLU, Jorgenson was a graduate assistant at the University of South Dakota. He was the primary contact for women's volleyball, golf, women’s tennis and swimming and diving. In addition, he worked with football, basketball and softball. Jorgenson assisted with women's basketball, as the team won the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), while hosting games inside the DakotaDome. He also helped run the 2016 South Dakota High School State Football Championships, which was also in the DakotaDome. in 2017, he recieved a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an emphasis in Communications, Leadership, and Sports Management. 

Jorgenson is a 2014 Wartburg graduate with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications with an emphasis in multimedia. At Wartburg, Jorgenson was an intern with Sports Information and assisted with coverage of all 19 teams. He also worked for Wartburg Television and helped cover the sports teams with features and video recaps. He wrote stories for the paper and had multiple radio shows at KWAR, the campus radio station.    

Jorgenson is originally from Des Moines, Iowa. He now resides in West Hills with his wife, Melissa, son Noah and daughter Emma.
