Redpath Earns All-West Region Honors at NCAA Regionals

CLAREMONT, Calif.Veronica Redpath put in an outstanding performance at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Pomona-Pitzer, leading Cal Lutheran with her finish at 21st overall to earn All-West Region honors for placing in the top-35.

The Regals finished 16th in the team competition was just one place behind their 15th-place performance a year ago. This was Cal Lutheran's second-highest finish since 2013.

Redpath was the top performer for her team racing to a stellar time of 23:18.50, a course-best for the sophomore.

Completing her career in the Purple and Gold was Rachel Ereso, placing 61st overall with a time of 24:37.50. The four-year student-athlete enjoyed a great career at CLU and has been a consistent top-two scorer on the team for the last three years.

Caroline Slate put in a decent time of 25:23.10 to finish 90th overall and Olivia Becker was not far behind as she crossed the line at 26:07.90.

Cal Lutheran looks ahead to the fall of 2020 as they attempt to build upon a strong 2019 campaign.
