ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – This afternoon the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the Week 31 Athlete of the Week honorees and Cal Lutheran's golfer Victoria Rose Meek was selected as the Women's Water Polo AOW.

A sophomore from Coronado, Calif., Meek helped the Regals go 2-0 on the week. CLU improved to 19-7 overall and 11-1 in conference play. The Regals defeated Chapman 7-5 and then shutout Whittier 8-0.  It was the fourth shutout in program history.

Meek plays center for the Regals. She led the offense and recorded a hat trick in back-to-back games. Versus Chapman, she added an assist and a drawn ejection. Against Whitter, she tallied a match-high five drawn ejections and also had an assist.

She is the third women's water polo player to earn SCIAC Athlete of the Week honors. Kristi McGee and Bailey Meyer have also garnered the award.
