Rouse, Cordoba & Barnes Lead Regals at SCIAC Multi-Dual No. 3

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran Regals conclude their Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference head-to-head matchups with 11 top-five performances at the SCIAC Multi-Dual No. 3. 

Leading the charge, senior Kelsey Rouse took home the high jump title, clearing 1.55 meters. The multi-specialist additionally claimed third in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking in at 15.36 seconds for a new lifetime personal best and the fourth best time in program history, and fourth in the long jump at 5.29 meters.

With a second-place finish, junior Ana Cordoba took second in the 100-meter dash, crossing the line at 12.60 seconds, and later fifth in the 200-meter dash at 26.02 seconds. With a second and fifth finish of her own, senior Alexa Barnes threw for 45.07 meters in the hammer and 31.51 meters in the discus tosses, respectively. 

Rounding out the crew, junior Morgan Snyder nabbed fourth in the triple jump at 10.51 meters and fifth in the javelin throw at 30.43 meters. Joining her on the field, junior Megan Pollock recorded a lifetime personal-best and fourth best in the all-time records 3.20-meter clearance in the pole vault. Teammate, junior Kayla Cross, joins her at fifth with a 2.90-meter height in the pole vault. 

The Regals now take a week off before heading to the SCIAC Championships on April 27-28 in Claremont, California, hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
