Foreman, Levanen Named All-SCIAC

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Cal Lutheran's Brennan Foreman and Henna Levanen represented Regals Tennis on the All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Team.

Cal Lutheran and Chapman competed in a head-to-head SCIAC series of four contests during the Spring of 2021 as the lone participants due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Chapman swept the four-match series. The winning of the team placed three athletes on the All-SCIAC team and the other team placed two. Both Regals earned All-SCIAC for the first time.

Foreman (Austin, Texas) competed at the No. 1 singles spot, taking on lots of tough competition, and also played at the No. 2. The junior won two of her singles matches, including a 7-6, 7-6, nail biter against Chapman. She finished 2-7 on the year, with both wins coming at home. For doubles, she competed at the No. 1 spot in every dual.

Levanen (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) also competed in the No. 1 and 2 singles spots, mostly at the No. 2. The freshman won her last singles match of the season, 6-2, 3-6, 5-7, as the Regals took on Chapman. In doubles, she competed at the No. 2 twice and the No. 1 once. She won both doubles matches at the No. 2 with Joslin Seaberg (8-0) and sister, Heidi Levanen (6-2).
