"Redlands is an excellent team and they always swim fast against CLU," said Head Coach Barry Schreifels. "The team is really tight now and we, the coaching staff, can't wait for the SCIAC Championships in three weeks."

Emily Sharpe led things off with a fantastic swim in the 1,650-yard freestyle, taking first place with her time of 19:05.54.

In the 200-yard freestyle, Kyrie Fairbairn did well to slip into second place as she posted a time of 2:03.65.

McKenzie Kelly got in the pool and put in another good performance for her team, earning second place in the 200-yard butterfly to gain four points.

Sophomore Brieyana Walton managed a podium spot in the 50-yard freestyle, grabbing third place.

Sharpe turned heads yet again towards the end of the meet, winning the 500-yard freestyle with her top time of 5:33.87.

To cap off the competition, Cal Lutheran ended on a high note as the quartet of Aubrey Blickman, Sharpe, Walton and Fairbairn notched a second-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Cal Lutheran now looks to the SCIAC Championships held Feb. 20-23 in Commerce, Calif.
