Regals Fall To NAIA Opponent

Thousand Oaks, Calif. – It was a tough game for the Regals against NAIA opponent Hope International University. They fell 44-80 after a tough four quarters.

Nine different players put up points for the Regals. Aliya DiMuro was the leading scorer with 10 points. DiMuro added eight rebounds, one assist, and three blocks. Right behind her with nine points was Naomi Gipson. Gipson collected three rebounds and two blocks.

Cameron Mallory added to the mix with eight points and five rebounds.

The Purple and Gold went 14-18 from the free throw line but were having a tough shooting night everywhere else on the court.

Danielle Morgan established her place under the net and tallied three offensive and three defensive rebounds. She chipped in on the offense with four points, one assist, one steal, and one block.

Mallory and DiMuro both shot 100 percent from the free throw line and Gipson went three for four.

The next time the Regals return to the court it will be December 29th in the D3 Hoops Classic tournament in Las Vegas.
