Kingsmen Take on George Washington, Fordham on Day One of Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. — Cal Lutheran men's water polo has faced their fair share of Division I programs to start the year and they continued that trend as they took on George Washington and Fordham on day one of the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. 

George Washington 12, Cal Lutheran 8
Ben Brown and Dillon Goldsmith both recorded a hat trick to lead the offense and Lincoln Hall and Luke Matthies each added one. 

Brown made play after play for the Kingsmen as he recorded a team-high two assists and two steals. Hall matched Brown in steals. Bo DuBois was in the cage and made six saves with two assists and one steal.

Fordham 18, Cal Lutheran 11
Seven Kingsmen found the goal as Jack Bradbury, Brown and Cole Weiderman had two each. Aidan Allamian had two assists and Johnny Wotawa recorded four drawn ejections.

Defensively, Weiderman recorded two steals. The Kingsmen split the time in goal between DuBois and Daniel Parr. Both had six saves and DuBois added a steal and Parr notched two assists.

The Kingsmen continue the Princeton Invitational on Sunday. Cal Lutheran takes on Bucknell at 5 a.m. PST and then Princeton at 8:45 a.m.
