Kingsmen Win First of Two 12-5 Over Biola

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — California Lutheran University men's water polo improved to 18-3 with a 12-5 win over the Biola University Eagles.

The Kingsmen jumped out to a quick lead with goals from Ben Brown and Lincoln Hall. Parker Jory added one to keep the Kingsmen up 3-2 at the end of the first quarter.
The Second quarter was all Cal Lutheran as Jory netted his second to go with two goals from Luke Matthies and one from Cormac Flanders on the way to a 4-0 quarter and a 7-2 overall lead.

The momentum carried over into the second half as Ben Brown, Cole Weiderman, and David Brandt all found the back of the net. The Eagles were only able to muster a single response before the third quarter ended with the score 10-3.

The two teams traded goals in the 4th with Greg Olsen and Justin Boals scoring for the Kingsmen.

Johnathan Salandi picked up 8 saves to mark a strong performance in goal for the Kingsmen.

The team will be back in the pool for their second match of the day at 4pm against Ottawa University Arizona.
