Kingsmen Fall Just Short of the Rare Air Tournament Title

The Kingsmen water polo team hopped back in the pool today to finish their final two games of the Rare Air Tournament.

The first match up of the day was against CMS where they were able to best the Stags 15-6. The scoring was wide spread for the second day in a row with a total of nine Kingsmen getting their name on the stat sheet.

The Kingsmen had a 3-0 record in the tournament until their final game against the Airforce Falcons. They were still able to put nine goals in the back of the net in their final game but it wasn't enough to clench another win.

Wyatt Lowe was the leading scorer for the Kingsmen today with a total of five goals between the two games. Following close behind was Dillon Goldsmith with four goals to his name.

Cole Weiderman and Parker Jory each found the back of the net on three separate occasions. Ben Brown, Luke Matthies and Stephen Blaauw added to the Kingsmen offense with a pair of goals each.

To top off the scoring for the day Justin Krause, Taylor Garcia and Lincoln Hall all bagged one goal a-piece.

The Kingsmen fell just short of the tournament title but after all high scoring games, they're sure to come back ready to take on SCIAC. Their next debut is a home game this Friday the 10th against Fresno Pacific at 4 pm.
