2019 (Water Polo)
SECOND TEAM ALL-SCIAC… Rivas started and played in 20 games at goalkeeper...he made 203 saves on the year… set a career-high with 18 saves against Chapman on Nov. 9… he finished the season with 18 steals and 12 assists… in the program records books for single season, he recorded the eight-most saves in 2018 (206) and the ninth most saves in 2019 (203)… for a career, he has the sixth most saves with 421.
2018 (Water Polo)
The Kingsmen tallied the most wins (16) for a season in program history… in his sophomore season, Rivas started 23 games and played in 24 at goalkeeper… he made 206 saves on the year which is the eighth-most in program history… set a career-high with 15 saves against Fordham (Oct. 6)… for the season, he added 21 steals and 16 assists.
2017 (Water Polo)
Rivas received an All-Academic Award which earned him a spot on the Outstanding list (4.0-3.71 GPA)...In his freshman season for the Kingsmen he appeared in 3 games…he totaled 12 saves and 1 steal... Inducted into the Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.
San Pasqual High School
Graduated in 2017…played three years of water polo for the Eagles…was named San Pasqual Water Polo MVP 2015-2017…named First Team All-League 2015-17 and Second Team All-CIF in 2016...earned First Team All-Division in 2016 and was a San Diego Division II Runner-up...tallied 871 saves at San Pasqual, which is the ninth-most all-time in San Diego County.
