2017 (Water Polo)
Zamecki received an All-Academic Award for his outstanding achievement in the classroom, which earned him a spot on the Excellent award list (3.40-3.20)…appeared in 23 of 25 games this season with 2 starts for the Kingsmen…in his junior season he scored 18 goals along with 8 assists… he drew 3 ejections and 12 steals… he finished the season 2 field blocks and a shooting percentage of .4.

2016-17 (Swimming)
Set three individual CLU records as a junior and was part of three more record-setting relays…set top-marks for the 50 free (20.66), 100 free (45.31) and 100 fly (50.33) at SCIAC Championships…also part of record setting 200 Free Relay (1:22.64), 400 Free Relay (3:03.50) and 200 Medley Relay (1:35.33)…earned five All-SCIAC recognitions (50 free, 100 free, 200 FR, 400 FR, 800 FR)…200 FR and 400 FR placed second in the SCIAC and he finished third in the 50 free and 100 free…also swam fastest 200 free (1:41.61) for the squad this season…additionally earned season bests in the 500 free (4:57.48), 200 back (2:09.31), and 200 fly (2:03.17)...most vast memory of CLU athletics was the 4x100m Relay Team that missed championships by .5 second.

2015-16 (Swimming)
Earned All-SCIAC in both the 400 Free and 800 Free Relays, which each set CLU records…anchored school record 400 FR at second SCIAC Championships to place third in 3:04.48…anchored 800 FR school record that placed second in 6:47.17…part of CLU record-setting 400 Medley Relay, swimming third leg for time of 3:28.33…three season-best times came at SCIAC Championships (Feb. 18-21) including 50 free (21.57), 100 free (46.40) and 100 butterfly (50.96)…other season-best times came at the Malibu Invitational (Oct. 17) in the 100 back (57.12) and 100 breast (1:15.10), at UC Santa Cruz (Dec. 6) in the 200 free (1:47.18) and 200 butterfly (2:00.98) and at Caltech (Dec. 12) in the 200 IM (2:04.53) and 1650 (17:43.22)… led off fastest 200 Free Relay (1:25.44) of season that came at SCIAC Championships.

2015 (Water Polo)
Played in five games for the Kingsmen…scored one goal with one assist, one steal, one block and one drawn ejection.

2014-15 (Swimming)
Set two individual CLU records and was a member of all three record-breaking relays for the Kingsmen at the SCIAC Championships (Feb. 19-22)…set a school record after swimming the 100 back in a time of 53.61 to place eighth in the championship final…also set a school record in the 200 back with a time of 1:57.45 to place sixth overall…helped CLU to records in the 200 Free Relay (1:24.30), 400 Free Relay (3:05.65) and the 800 Free Relay (6:53.61) for which he earned All-SCIAC honors.

2014 (Water Polo)
Appeared in four games as a true freshman…finished with four goals, three assists, two steals and a drawn ejection…made his collegiate debut against Air Force Academy (Sept. 6)…handed out first assist for the Kingsmen in that game…first steal came against La Verne (Oct. 25)…scored all four goals against Caltech (Oct. 29) as he added two assists, a drawn ejection and a steal in the contest as well.

Junipero Serra High School
Graduated in 2014…played four years of water polo and swam four years for the Padres…earned First Team All-WCAL League honors in water polo…two-time All-League selection as a swimmer…once scored nine goals on 12 attempts in a game.

Full name: Zach Scott Zamechi…born February 24, 1996…parents are Sheri and John Zamechi…has a younger brother, Nathan…has a dog name Lucky…family resides in San Carlos, Calif…chose CLU because of all the friendly people and had a great connection…majoring in accounting...career aspirations include working at a CPA firm.
