2017 (Water Polo)
Venckus received an All-Academic Award for his outstanding achievement in the classroom, which earned him a spot on the Excellent award list (3.40-3.20)…Appeared in 9 games and started in 6 of them for the Kingsmen…as a junior he totaled 58 saves and 3 assists.

2016-17 (Swimming)
Swam season-best times in the 50 free (25.63), 100 breast (1:02.48) and 200 breast (2:20.78) at SCIAC Championships during his junior season.

2015-16 (Swimming)
In his second season of swimming for Cal Lutheran, earned two season-best times at SCIAC Championships (Feb. 18-21) including 50 free (25.96) and 100 breast (1:04.86)…other season-best time came at home against Whittier (Feb. 6) in the 200 breast (2:26.89).

2015 (Water Polo)
Appeared in five games as a sophomore… obtained his first saves of the season (five) against Penn State-Behrend (Oct. 1)…finished with 16 saves over 64 minutes of action in eight quarters played…added three steals and three assists…averaged 3.2 saves per game and allowed 9.0 goals against in 2015.

2014-15 (Swimming)
Recorded three season-best times at the SCIAC Championships (Feb. 19-22) in the 50 free (26.23), 100 breast (1:06.11) and the 200 breast (2:24.98).

2014 (Water Polo)
Practice squad member...did not appear in any intercollegiate contests for the Kingsmen.

Palisades Charter High School
Graduated in 2014…three year member of the varsity water polo and swim team for the Dolphins…named to the First Team All-LA City and First Team All-Western League…led the team to back-to-back Western-League championships during junior and senior years…CIF champions in 2013 and 2014.

Full name: Jake Venckus…born June 1, 1996…parents are Caron Schwartz and Vitas Venckus…has four siblings…family resides in Los Angeles, Calif…chose CLU because it is a good school, has a good Water Polo program, and for the good times…major in business administration...shared that most vast memory of CLU athletics is that each and every day is a blessing.
