Curtin’s Mark in Pole Vault Second-Best in Program History

CLAREMONT, Calif. —  Cooper Curtin set the program's second-best mark in the pole vault as California Lutheran University men's track & field competed at the Pomona-Pitzer Collegiate All-Comers on Saturday. 

Curtin was second in the pole vault as he cleared 4.55 meters, the second-highest mark for the Kingmen. 

Jack MacKinnon and Chris Noji were fourth in their events. MacKinnon took fourth in the discus with 38.95 meters and Noji cleared a height of 1.75m in the high jump. 

MacKinnon competed more throwing events and was fifth in the hammer with 41.14m and sixth in the shot put with 12.54m. 

Noji also competed in the triple jump and had a distance 11.03m to finish 10th

Also competing for the Kingsmen was Bryan Bugni in the long jump (15th, 5.76m), Connor Judd in the javelin (16th, 36.31m), Noah Gaudi in the 100-meters (23rd, 11.59), Judd in the 400-meter dash (31st, 56.33), Sebastian Sawyer in the 3,000-meter run (42nd, 9:14.28), Nicholas Vazquez in the 200-meters (48th, 25.02) and Max Segeberg in the mile (50th, 4:48.18). 

Next up for the Kingsmen is the SCIAC Multi-Dual #1 on March 5th and it starts at 10 a.m.
