In his freshman season, he competed in the 110 hurdles and 400 hurdles… his top times were 17.33 seconds in the 110 hurdles and 1:01.41 in the 400 hurdles.

Competed in men’s cross country (1 year), football (3 years), track and field (3 years) and paddling (4 years)… was a captain for paddling, football, and track & field… KIF hurdle champion in long jump and high jump… valedictorian of Waimea.
