SCIAC Athlete of the Week once… Competed at the No. 3 and 4 singles spots… Earned two wins... Inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2019-20
Played in six singles matches of his junior season… won one singles match… played in eight doubles matches… went 5-8 in doubles all with Haffner… began the season as number-one in singles in a clean sweep over Marymount University (Feb. 5)… won a doubles match at the West ITA Regional Small Conference Championships 8-1 versus UC Santa Cruz (Oct. 4)... inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

2018-19
Competed in 17 singles matches and 18 doubles matches as a sophomore for the Kingsmen… ent 9-8 overall in singles and 5-4 in conference play… Opened the spring season with back to back wins against Pomona-Pitzer and Westmont… Finished 11-7 overall in doubles, 4-5 in conference play and 7-2 at home… Went on a four-match win streak from March 21 to April 5… Upset the No. 20 ranked team from Rensselaer Polytechnic on March 4 with teammate Jake Haffner.

Parents are Kelly Mills and Ted Volk… has two siblings: Marley and Noa… chose Cal Lutheran because of the “great environment and close to home” … states his greatest sports memory as “winning zonals U16".
