THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.— The Cal Lutheran Kingsmen played their last home game along with their last matchup of the season, against the No. one nationally ranked, Claremont Stags, falling 9-0.
Initiating the morning with doubles, senior Yahn Gawrit and sophomore Isaiah Volk, No. one doubles, fell 8-4. Senior Ransom Braaten and junior Jake Haffner, No. two, fell 8-3.
Senior doubles team Florent Auteil and Kylel Gillam, No. three doubles, fell to their opponents 8-0.
Continuing on to singles matchups, senior Michael Sulahian, No. six spot, played his last singles match as a Kingsmen, and fell 6-2 and 6-1.
Gawrit, No. one spot, fell 6-3 and 6-2; Braaten, No. two singles, fell 6-2 and 6-3; Volk, No. three, fell 6-3 and 6-3; Haffner, No. four, fell 6-0 and 6-1; and freshman Aaron Moylan, No. five singles, fell 6-0 and 6-2.
The Kingsmen wrap up their regular season with an overall record of 13-7 and a conference record of 3-4.
