Whittier's lone singles victory came on court six as Sebastian Ariza took the match to three sets, but ended up falling 2-6, 6-4, 2-6. Wrapping things up, Tilly also fell in the first set to his opponent, but came back to win 5-7, 7-5, 10-3.

The victory secures the Kingsmen's spot in the SCIAC Championships on May 4th. Prior to the conference postseason tournament, Cal Lutheran will compete at the NCAA Division III West Regional Championships on April 27-29.
