Competed in eight of the nine events as a junior for the Kingsmen...Posted four season-best times at the SCIAC Championships in the 50-yard free, 50-yard back, 100-yard back and 200-yard back....Grabbed a pair of second-place finishes in the Whittier dual meet...Logged another pair of second-place finishes against Redlands... Inducted into the Scholar-Athlete Society for the second time.

2018-19 (Swimming)
Competed in nine events as a sophomore for the Kingsmen…notched a personal-best and a season-best at SCIAC Championship: 1:58.90 in the 200-back, and 3:15.20 in the 400-free relay… Additionally achieved seven more season-best at five different meets… 50.93 in the 100-free, 58.17 in the 100-back at Whittier/Redlands… 1:50.64 in the 200-free, 1:33.24 in the 200-free relay at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps/La Verne… 1:41.04 in the 200-medley relay at Occidental...3:51.96 in the 400-medley relay at Chris Knorr Invitational...7:21.89 in the 800-free relay at Banana Slug Invitational...Inducted into the Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

2017-18 (Swimming)
Competed in eight events as a freshman for the Kingsmen… Recorded three of his best times at the SCIAC Swimming and Diving Championships: 1:47.73 in the 200-free, 56.53 in the 100-back and 2:00.53 in the 200-back… Additionally recorded three of his best times at the UC Santa Cruz Slug Invite: 23.28 in the 50-free, 50.53 in the 100-free and 2:12.72 in the 200-individual medley… Also notched his best 50-back time of 27.05 against Occidental College.

Westlake High School
Graduated in 2017…played for the Warrior in Marmonte League…swam three years varsity and played four years varsity Water Polo…second Team All-League for 100 back…boys eight in CIF Division Two.

Kyan Daniels…Born in San Diego, Calif…parents are Paige and Rich Daniels…has a brother named Zak…greatest personal sports moment was making the CIF tournament…volunteers for Special Olympics…chose CLU for a small school with many connections…majoring in Exercise Science with sights set on Physical Therapy.
