Nybo Garners All-American Honors in 200-Butterfly

GREENSBORO, N.C. – On day three of the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, sophomore Andreas Nybo earned All-American honors in the 200-butterfly. 

To reach the finals, Nybo fought his way to an eighth-place finish in the 200-butterfly in the morning's preliminaries. He initially tied with Trinity's Beau Tipton with a time of 1:48.49 and the two entered a swim-off just 30 minutes later. Nybo, took the cake, however with a time of 1:47.88, just .03 shy of his lifetime personal best. 

That night, he went on to finish seventh in the finals, clocking in at 1:48.38, and garnered All-American honors in the event for the second consecutive year in a row. 

Nybo, Grace Sanchez and Liam McCallum return to the pool tomorrow for the final day of competition inside the Greensboro Aquatics Center at 10 a.m. EST.
